Torah Studies
Our Torah studies bring thoughtful reading and open conversation together. We explore the text, consider Jewish interpretations, and reflect on how its teachings speak to our lives. Through the spiritual lens of Jewish Science and Applied Judaism, we also consider how Torah’s stories can illuminate our inner lives—our fears, hopes, choices, and capacity for growth.
Study becomes an invitation to practice what we learn: deepen trust in God, respond with lovingkindness, and bring greater wisdom to everyday decisions. No prior study is needed.
A JEWISH VALUE
Biblical Hebrew
Our biblical Hebrew classes help you engage more directly with the language of Torah and prayer. Learning letters, sounds, words, and their meanings can reveal nuances that translations may not fully convey and make familiar passages more meaningful.
In the spirit of Applied Judaism, we connect understanding with experience. Reflecting on Hebrew words for peace, lovingkindness, and faith can enrich meditation and affirmative prayer while encouraging us to express those qualities in daily life. We welcome beginners and those strengthening their skills.
A MEANINGFUL MILESTONE
B’nai Mitzvah
Preparing for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah invites young people and their families to explore Torah, prayer, Jewish identity, and the responsibilities of becoming more active in the community. Hebrew and prayer preparation help students participate with understanding and confidence.
Jewish Science and Applied Judaism add an emphasis on inner growth: recognizing God’s presence within, developing thoughtful intentions, and putting faith into action through mitzvot and acts of lovingkindness.
